The pages from Mr Andersen book
One spring morning, Mr Andersen was walking to meet his publisher. He was going to show him the brand new book he wrote. But th wind has carried the pages from the book away, turning the fairy-tale realm on its head. An ugly frog has taken the place of Thumbelina inside the flower. Mouse and Thumbelina, expecting mole, are visited instead by the “old trolls of the first rank, and with tails”. In the meantime, the steandfast tin soldier is sailing away on the waterlily leaf.
Despite all the fuss Alla Maslovskaya does her best to tell the story of Thumbelina, with the little help from the young audience and some enchanting shadow imagery.
